But I do want to mention that I read and enjoyed THE RELATIVES CAME and found it “worthy” of grandfatherly attention.
Illustrations by Stephen Gammell are warm-hearted and won Caldecott Honor Book recognition.
I’m reading more by Cynthia Rylant these days....
